Advert: Blackberry Bold

I wanted to post a project that I just finished last week for the new Blackberry Bold. You may have seen the spot play on all of the football games lately. We just finished the versions for different markets including Mexico, Brazil, and Germany. It was a great project for me to learn a TON more about Cinema 4D. I used Cinema and the Mograph module to create all of the tiles and for the explosion section and After Effects for the compositing.

Awesome work. I like how it flipped up into the Life On Blackberry Bold titles to emphasize the thickness (or lack thereof).

Oh I just saw this ad on the Daily Show full episodes stream, and I thought “Oh! I know the guy that made that!” Ok, so I don’t really know you personally, but I’ve read your blog for many months because I am a photography fan, so I hope you don’t mind the momentary indulgence in saying I ‘know you’. I am also a Blackberry fan. Great work! :)

I just saw this spot during the Golden Globes and had a nice talk with some friends about how slick it looked…Nice work man!

Great spot man. Very glossy & slick. Care to share any behind the scenes on your lighting setup within C4D?
