Show N Tell Show Interview – Slow Motion Theatre

I had a fun time being interviewed at the Show N’ ‘Tell Show last night. I showed some videos that were shot a couple years ago and haven’t seen the light of day… until now. The format was great, I wish that I had the “Mom” of the show on camera. She really made the show; cracking jokes and asking me not so swear. She was really funny. I wish I would have framed her up in the shot so you could see. Anyway, if you didn’t make it this week, they will be at the Chicago Cut & Paste festival next Saturday. I will be judging the Motion Category and hanging through the show. Stop on by and say hi if you’re in town. Anyway, here is the recording of me on stage at last night’s Show N’ Tell. I also posted all of the videos below so you have a better look at all of the Slow Motion Theatre films. Enjoy!

It’s always delightful how small details are so fascinating when slowed down with high speed video, really beautiful work. Also could you answer what the lovely serif font is you used for the credits on the bubbles video.

Hey Nick, amazing. I shot some skate stuff with the phantom camera a few years ago. Hey I was wondering what you used to get the debris in the cars video. Did you dust the cars with something?

Love it!! You got some skills. I just wonder in that balloon video, did you make those scanning flickering lights in post or is it just the high speed camera? If it’s in post production I would really like to know you did it. Maybe a tutorial? :)

  9. These videos are incredible. Thanks for sharing them.
