    Can you show me how to create a texture for wool knitting yarn or realistic rope’s texture ?

    When they do close-up shot , you can see lots of fuzzy hair on the real rope texture.

      For the most part you answered your on question. I would find a tiled rope texture and DL the plugin “XReeper.” Convert to polygons and apply hair to the “polygon area.” Just adjust the thickness and length and you will get the fuzz when adding kink and frizz.
