Happy Holidays everyone. Things have been slow around the Greyscalegorilla office lately. Like many, we are preparing for holidays and enjoying friends and family. I hope you are doing the same. But, I figured I would put this list of holiday related tutorials and downloads together for when you just need a break from all the food, family and holiday action.
Happy Holidays from Greyscalegorilla!
Keep learning and having fun!

Nick,
Thank you so much for all your great work. You have been indispensable to my learning C4D – and I appreciate all the time and energy you put into greyscalegorilla. Looking forward to some great new tutorials and products in 2012! Thanks buddy. Merry Christmas.
Thank You Nick, Chris and all the GSG helpers.
Your site adds value and inspiration beyond the ordinary – every day.
And that makes it … an extraordinary one!
Happy Holidays and Creative New Year.
I would love to see a Spongebob Squarepants model tutorial next year. I think texturing and modeling would be fun in that.
Merry Christmas Nick, you’ve been a great inspiration.
Hi Nick,
Can you show me how to create a texture for wool knitting yarn or realistic rope’s texture ?
This’s a link for reference : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4gLIXnlw2I
When they do close-up shot , you can see lots of fuzzy hair on the real rope texture.
Thank you Nick,
Happy Holiday and New Awesome Years,
For the most part you answered your on question. I would find a tiled rope texture and DL the plugin “XReeper.” Convert to polygons and apply hair to the “polygon area.” Just adjust the thickness and length and you will get the fuzz when adding kink and frizz.
Thanks for your helps. I will try it to see the effect.
