In this tutorial, I show you how to make a fun cascading text effect shown below using Cinema 4D. Mograph, shader effectors, step effectors, and extrude nurbs. I also show you how to light the scene by using some reflective white cards and my upcoming Studio Light Kit.

In this episode, I go though how to use the NURBS tools including, Hyper Nurbs, Extrude Nurbs, Lathe Nurbs, Loft Nurbs, Sweep Nurbs, and the Bezier Nurbs tools. I use nurbs tools to help me model basic objects and to help with animation.
In this tutorial, I show you how to stop time in your Mograph Dynamic renders. I call it the “Matrix Effect” where time stops or stands still for a moment before it starts again. I’ll show you how I use the Project Settings to control the speed and timing of an explosion.
