Yep, it’s time for another Five Second Project. This month’s theme is “Candy Hearts”. It’s time to show the LOVE! Maybe it’s a 5 animation for someone (or something) you love. Perhaps you write out a special message on those yummy heart shaped candies? Not feeling the love? It’s ok. Interpret the theme however you see fit. Just make something, will ya? Get rendering!

hey Nick or anyone, on a quick note in reference to this render, how to achieve such quantity of hearts with different textures & positions so varied? the overlapping manually would take hours alone!

I know what you mean. I kicked around a couple of ideas related to heart-shaped gears, just couldn’t come up with anything that told a 5 second story. My entry turned out very simplistic and completely different than I anticipated.

Unless you are a Vimeo Plus or Vimeo Prime member, you only get one HD upload a week. The video you upload will be SD at first and then Vimeo converts it to HD soon after.
