  • Is it worth pursuing Redshift on a system that only has 2 GPUs? I was considering a build with two 2080s or 2080TI’s with the NV link (if redshift supports that yet)

    • We all have dual GPU setups right now (nick and chris with 1080ti’s and me with 2080ti’s). It’s absolutely enough for Redshift. Have fun!

  • Hey Guys, I am very intrigued about this course. I started with C4D and octane this year but it crashes on me a lot. I love that it is not so technical though.

I have a very minimalistic Style (Think Chris Guyot). Do you think this Renderer and the Training could work for me? I use 1×1080 GPU? I

    • No problem, we have a 60-day money back guarantee. Give it a shot, if you don’t like it, you can return it. Have a good one!

  • I want to add something. My most used features in Octane are probably displacement and the Dof Bokeh Settings. Do i get similar results in Redshift with that and is it explained in the course ? Thank you so much

    • Yep, displacement and bokeh are explained in the course (we have two videos dedicated to camera settings and one that is dedicated to understanding displacement). As for similar results, yes. Very similar. But with RS you get more control. You can even load in custom bokeh images to drive your bokeh shapes.
