  • Switching to PC soon myself and have been looking into getting ProRes on Windows – has anyone tried AEmpeg (from aescripts)? Seems like a more user friendly interface to ffmpeg

  • Hi Guys

Regarding Codecs, you might want to check this :

Than you for this podcast and all the great work you do.?

  • With regards to your Alfa Romeo question: The company stopped selling cars in the US in the 90s. And as of today you can’t buy Citroen or Peugeot cars in the U.S. either. Alfa Romeo cars used to be legendary in the 50s.

The Alfa Spider convertible was to be as pretty as unreliable and now they seem to come back to the U.S. with some very aggressive (ugly) designs. No better place than the Superbowl to hammer a brand’s name into empty brains.

  • Alpha Romeo is a sub-company from FIAT. It is the same level than Audi or BMW but a little less (or way less) famous or don’t have a lot of presence in the US. Mama mia ?

  • you can export prores from windows too.

As far as I know, unless you use image sequences there are not many alternatives if you’re dealing with more than 8 bpc projects. And that alone makes it to me a “must have”.
