  • Now if I could only get those little movie camera icons to look like a DSLR…

  • recommending this for a healthier longtime-sitting :

  • Photography–the recording of light–is one of the most beneficial skills to have as a 3D artist.

  • The RS Texture node has a UV-Channel slot where you can put in differernt UV-Tags for each single texture, this is how i put the text labels and some dirt maps on my camera rendering without unwrapping.

    • You are correct, but currently using multiple UV’s in RS is buggy in the IPR which is why I abandoned that renderer for this particular project. Awesome image btw.

  • Will they have dual processor workstation motherboards for Ryzen? Thinking of building a new workstation and was considering a server board with Xeons.

    Hey guys,
loving the podcast for the most part, keep the episodes coming!

However: This episode i found to be cringy in way too many areas. In german we call it “Gefährliches Halbwissen”. Dangerous Half-Knowledge.

Please just get someone who REALLY understands color management on the podcast and have him explain it to all (and you), but stop that wild guesses and mostly wrong/oversimplified explanations. They might do more harm than good.
I’d love to hear more sophisticated words on the topic.

Again, i love the show! 😀

    Best wishes,
    a german graphics designer

    • We’d love to, if you know someone that is an expert, please let us know and maybe we can all get a better understanding. Thanks for the comment!

  • Hi Chad,

I am about to buy a new pc for both: working and rendering (using Arnold). After warthing your podcast I thought that it would be a great idea to get 2 Ryzen 7 1800X, but I haven’t read anything about that and I am not quite sure about what motherboard would support it.

Do you know something about that?

Thank you guys for all what you are doing for the motiongraphics community.
