  • Great tutorial thanks EJ, had never seen rigging with the spline wrap before + a great explanation of how a walk cycle works – have tried to make a few times in the past but always got it wrong! Would love to have more character animation tutorials on Greyscale. Cheers!

    • Thanks ben! Yes I love this technique to do some quick and dirty IK without needing to do any kind of joints or tricky weighting. Hoping to do more character tutorials and expand on this technique in the future!

    Quick question: would it be possible to do a simple arm rig this way, but then attach a hand rigged more complex with joints at the end of the spline wrapped arm?

  • When I try to set the IK and goal of the leg, my goal is putted at the top of the leg instead of the end of the leg. Why is this? I followed every step.

  • How can I bring this animation in Unity 3d?

  • Any idea why legs bends the correct way in the view window but renders bending in the reverse direction?
