Glass and liquid are deceptively hard to render. You’ve got nested dielectrics, overlapping geometry, internal refractions, and don’t forget the mess of nodes it takes just to make something transparent that doesn’t look like jelly. On top of that, most 3D libraries either skip this entirely or offer models and materials that weren’t built to work together.

That’s why we built a full-stack solution for rendering drinks that actually look like, well, drinks.

Introducing three new collections available exclusively inside Greyscalegorilla Studio: Glassware Models, Liquid Materials, and Glass Materials. Together, they’re built to work seamlessly. You get physically accurate liquids inside nested glass geometry, with photoreal material presets that reflect and refract like the real thing.

Glassware Models

Clean geometry. Real scale. Liquid-ready.
We modeled 40 unique glasses from real-world reference…everything from pint glasses and tumblers, to coupes and stemware. Each one is fully UV’d, optimized for rendering, and includes a version with liquid already inside.

The liquid geometry intentionally overlaps with the interior walls for proper nested dielectrics. That means no weird floaty edges, no broken refractions. Just load, apply your materials, and render.

Glass Materials

Frosted, tinted, clean, and colorful. This is glass done right.
With 74 pro-grade presets, this is our biggest glass library yet. You’ll find clear soda-lime, elegant frosted finishes, and bold color tints, all physically accurate and production-ready. Some even include dispersion for added realism in close-ups.

Every shader is tuned to render beautifully with the models and liquids above, and with Studio’s one-click workflow, you can drop them right into your scene instantly.

Liquid Materials

Your new go-to collection for believable liquids.
This collection includes 45 handcrafted presets covering everything from whiskey and milk to ketchup and honey. Built with real-world IOR, density, and scale, these materials look like the real thing right out of the box. No tweaking required.

Some are thick and goopy with subsurface scattering. Others are clear and glassy with just the right tint. Whether you’re rendering product shots, food, or stylized art, this collection gives you what you need to get it done fast.

New in Studio: Feeling Lucky?

With this release, we’re also adding a new feature to Studio, the Asset Randomizer.

Look for the little dice icon in the asset browser. One click and Studio will shuffle the assets and serve up a random selection from the library. It's a quick way to spark new ideas, discover hidden gems, or just find something fresh without overthinking it.
