Better Together Challenge

Introducing the Better Together Challenge, a creative prompt where artists combine one free asset from each brand to create something greater than the sum of its parts.

We’ve teamed up to give you a free Greyscalegorilla material and a free KitBash3D model to get started. Whether you're crafting a still image or a short animation, we want to see how you mix and match the tools to make something uniquely yours.

How to Get the Free Assets:

From Greyscalegorilla:

1. Download Studio for free. No Plus membership required.
2. Open Greyscalegorilla Studio and search “better together” to find and use the material.
3. Import the free material into your project with one click.

From KitBash3D:

1. Download Cargo for free and connect it to your 3D software of choice. No Unlimited subscription needed.
2. Open Cargo, go to the Models tab, and search “better together.”
3. Import the free model into your scene with one click.

How to Enter:

1. Use both assets in your scene. (They don’t have to be used together…but be sure to include both somewhere in your render.)
2. Create a still image or short animation (under 30 seconds) using the tools however you like.
3. Post to Instagram and:
   • Follow @KitBash3D and @Greyscalegorilla
   • Tag both brands in your post
   • Use the hashtag #BetterTogether3D

Timeline:

• Challenge Opens: Wednesday, January 28
• Deadline to Submit: Friday, February 13
• Winner Announcement: Monday, February 16
