KitBash Acquires Sketchfab and ArtStation

ArtStation and Sketchfab are moving from Epic Games to join KitBash, expanding our portfolio of creative platforms that includes KitBash3D and Greyscalegorilla.

Whether you’re designing motion graphics, product visuals, title sequences, brand films, commercials, social content, or experimental 3D, we build tools, materials, education, and workflows to support your everyday creative process.

We know that great tools are only one part of the creative process, though. You also need places to learn, find inspiration, share your work, and connect with other artists. That’s why we’re excited to share that ArtStation and Sketchfab are moving from Epic Games to join KitBash, expanding our portfolio of creative platforms that includes KitBash3D and Greyscalegorilla.

More Support for the Creative Journey

“ArtStation and Sketchfab are go-to platforms for artists to share and manage their art. KitBash will expand opportunities for artists at every stage of their creation process to connect and showcase their work in new ways,” said Bill Clifford, SVP of the Unreal Ecosystem at Epic Games.

Together, these tools will build a more connected ecosystem for the artists, studios, educators, and communities shaping the future of digital art and 3D creation.

“One of the most important things we’ve learned is that helping artists create their best work is about more than building great tools. It’s also about fostering a community that encourages curiosity, learning, and inspiration,” said Nick Campbell, Co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer of KitBash. “ArtStation and Sketchfab have built incredible communities around those same values, and we’re excited about everything we can learn, create, and build together.”
