Getting Started With Cinema 4D: Intro To Cinema 4D Dynamics

September 20, 2016

In this Intro Cinema 4D tutorial I will show you how to add dynamics to your objects in Cinema 4D. If you are new to Cinema 4D, you don’t want to miss this one.

Dynamics is one of the things that really got me excited to learn Cinema 4D. And, it’s so simple to start to play with it in Cinema 4D.

If you like this tutorial, be sure to check out our Intro to Cinema 4D Training series where we have an entire module dedicated to more dynamics training.

  • Awesome 🙂

  • can you finish this tutorial, my lighting doesnt look good when i render

  • This is a great tutorial. I learned a lot but have not been able to get the color variation to work. I triple-checked my settings. I can see the preview in the variation properties but there is no variation in my rendered particles.

  • I figured it out. In the video you have Object Variation set to Objects, but it didn’t work for me until I changed it to Render Instances.

  • waoow dis hid crazy

  • Hello.
Can you make a tutorial on this Reference

  • No one explains better then Greyscalegorilla. Love it

  • Hey Nick Great Tutorial !

Amazing Nick!! I am learning a lot with Grayscalegorilla!! This is so exciting! Thank you, man.

  • Hey Nick, great tutorial as always.
Here it`s my version playing with some dynamics, let me know your feedback if possible. cheers!

  • I love it thatnx Nick

  • Amazing ..

  • Thanks Nick. I love your presentation.

  • Agree… awesome tutorial, I’m looking for more about dynamics and lighting, and render…

  • Can’t seem to get the variation shader to work. I just get one color on all objects in the cloner. Using C4D R17 Studio

  • Great video.

Sadly, the variation shader in my version of R17 Studio isn’t working the same as yours. I have all the same settings, but it’s rendering only a single color. 🙁

  • I’m in the same boat Joshua Ochieng.

Same version and everything. Variation shader just won’t work. 🙁

  • For those of you struggling with the variation shader, I had the same problem. Raymond B solved it, see his comment above…

In the variation shader settings, if you have Object Variation set to Objects, it didn’t work until I changed it to Render Instances.
