MAXON INTRODUCES CINEMA 4D S26
Maxon just released the latest version of Cinema 4D: S26. Plus Members, if you’ve already updated, you’re probably anxious to get your Greyscalegorilla Plus Plugins installed! Good thing we stayed up all night to be sure everything in your Plus membership is fully compatible with S26 on launch day!
S26 Users, simply download and install the latest version of the Plus HUB. Update your Plugins, and that’s it!
Remember…you do not need to re-download all of your assets. (See Below!)
Watch the video or follow the steps below to get up-to-date.
UPGRADE INSTRUCTIONS
- Download and install the appropriate version of the HUB here that corresponds with your OS and version of C4D. In the HUB, download and install new versions of the plugins.
- If you already have a Greyscalegorilla Asset folder, you can now link to it. Go to Edit→Preferences and in the Greyscalegorilla section, set the Greyscalegorilla Asset folder to the path used by your previous Cinema 4D version. All of your Cinema 4D versions can share the same asset folder.

Hi There, after updating only my G2LIB files will show up in plus library not the GSLIB ones.
Cheers
Hey lovely gorillas, just check into when you will update the entire material collection to be 100% compatible with R26, I know they work but they still use the legacy xpresso based material editor.
I noticed specifically that the car paint shaders are verrrrrrrrryyyyyyyyyy slooooooowwwwwwww.
Sorry you’re experiencing this! Depending on which renderer you’re using, there are a number of things that could be causing this lag. Reach out to our support team with details so we can get you up and running faster!! Thanks! https://support.greyscalegorilla.com/
