Edit to my last comment. I found a different tutorial for imperfections which works better with me. Incl. “range-nodes”. – https://greyscalegorilla.com/surface-imperfections-training/
This tutorial is really difficult to follow with all the jumps, quick – impossible to follow – short-cut inserts, zoom-ins and -outs. And it seems not to be up-to-date with c4d 2023 where I do not find a “range node” for example.
Does this work with Physical Renderer?
Yes, our Surface Imperfection packs do work with the Physcial renderer in C4D.
Where do i put these in the Reflectance-Channel in physical render?
How can we add Surface Imperfections with Octane?
Thanks

Hi Deirdra,
Thank you for your replay, but my question was how to create surface imperfections using octane? I would like to reproduce the – perfections overrated- tutorial using octane instead arnold or redshift. Do you know?
Hi Pedro. The process is very similar in Octane. However, I hope to record a video soon with chad on how to use these maps in Octane. Cheers.
Thanks for this amazing TIPS 🖤
